What is Healing Soup?
Ever since I was young my family utilized the healing nature of soup to help us be healthy and stay healthy! Come join us for our Healing Soup meetings and read our blog for recipes and more! 🥳 Happy New Year to you all!
Let’s start with a fabulous soup recipe. 枸杞羊肉汤 GouJi and lamb soup Ingredients: 枸杞 Gou Ji berries 15g 栗子 chestnuts 18g 羊肉 lamb meat 60g 姜 ginger 2 inch, sliced or crushed 醋 vinegar 15 ml 水 water 800 ml Salt and pepper Instructions: 1. Clean lamb meat and cut into small cubes 2. Blanching (parboil) the lamb meat with 1/2 of the ginger and vinegar 3. Steam all ingredients in a ceramic container for 90 minutes 4. Add salt and pepper to taste This soup is great for people who suffer from dizziness, low back pain, general fatigue, copious of night urination, edema.
