About Me
I am an acupuncturist with a background in molecular biology. I have been studying human anatomy, physiology, and neuroscience for over 20 years. While I loved research in the biomedical field as a Ph.D., I realized I would be much happier helping people directly. While I worked as a first aid/rescue responder and volunteered in Emergency Rooms, my personal experiences led me to study Chinese Medicine. Chinese medicine focuses on treating the whole person: mind, body and spirit.
I have studied acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Functional Medicine, Tui Na (body massage), Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques, and mindful meditation.
To sharpen my skills, I interned at several hospitals in China. I continue to study and practice methods old and new to ensure I have the best tools to provide relief to my patients.
Philosophy
Lifestyle, thought patterns, beliefs, and our spiritual practices all influence our health profoundly. My philosophy is to heal the mind, body, and spirit in conjunction to achieve optimal wellness.
